Client Business Need: Our client needed a planning system so they could get out of using a highly laborious and manual Excel based process. They also needed a reporting application to analyze sales data by Sales Rep and manage their commissions.
The Solution:  We built a robust planning application using Hyperion Planning, and a reporting application using ASO cubes. Budget managers were able to access their information through web forms to enter their numbers and the appropriate calculations ran in the backend. Data was securitized at the dimension level through security groups managed by the admin.
